As for parasites, there are not any monitor specific parasites in Ohio. Any human parasites, you will already have picked up by collecting the leaves. Ladybugs... now that’s scary! Jesse |

No baking or other silliness necessary. If you don’t want hitch hikers then look for other substrates. In my opinion, the bacteria and fauna that accompanies the leaves help in the breakdown of the lizard’s waste and odor. -J |
