Possible respiratory infection What are your temps, basking and ambient? Humidity levels? If you describe your setup we’ll have a better idea of what could be going on. How long since this started and do you see bubbles coming from the nostrils when it breathes and can you hear wheezing or a "clicking" or "popping" sound when it breathes?

Possible respiratory infection OK her temps during the day are 90-95 on the warm side her basking temps are 145-150i dont know the humidity levels but they couldn’t be to low because i put warm water in her dirt every day. this has bean going on for about 2 weeks the first time i Sean bubbles come out of her nose she was in the bath tub and i thought she just drank to much water to fast then yesterday i Sean her drooling while she was basking and earlier today i put her in the tub for a swim and she sneezed then started to drool so i got really worried i held her in a towel after her bath for a while then decided to see if she would eat so i gave her a baby chick and she ate and she hasn’t bean turning down food so she still has her apatite

Possible respiratory infection It sounds like URI, I always recommend the vet but if you are not able then start by raising your temps,I would say your hot side is good but elevate the cool side to high 80’s to 90 and keep it there 24/7. I have always been told to either remove the water bowl during this or place a heat pad under it,I opt for the heat pad simply because it will help raise the humidity. Although its hard to say since you don’t know your levels. In most cases URI is caused from a husbandry issue so if you can give us a description of your setup or pics we may be able to help figure out the cause,if husbandry is the issue.

Possible respiratory infection well as of now my camera is missing but will try and find it so ill just explane cool side 75-80 warm side 90-95 the basking spot is 145-150 the cage size is 8 by 4 by4 but only 6ft of the cage is dirt so there is 2ft that is no dirt because theres a door their so she can come out and explore once a week or so i can go in their and get her out thier is a ramp on that side that goes up onto a landing tipe thing and that leads up to the basking spot the baking spot leads down to another landing and thiers another ramp that goes into the dirt and for heating i have a heat ceramic heat bulb and 2 flood lights

Possible respiratory infection From your description your setup sounds good. How often and for how long do you let it out to freeroam? I think you mentioned doing that before. Also, when you bathe him how long is he in the tub and how long after you take him out before you return him to the enclosure? Just trying to pin point something for you. How long have you had it,if not long this could very well be from previous care as well as being imported here.

Possible respiratory infection well she was a rescue from a year ago and was obese but not any more when i let her free rome it is only for a few minutes because when i let her free rome i open her doggy door so she can go back in but when i let her free rome i usually hold her for about 20 minutes and then ill put her in her cage so she wont get all stressed from all of the movement from all the people in my house. when i give her baths its only for a short period of time and its very warm water she likes the water and it doesn’t stress her out but her baths are usually only about 5 minutes long and i put her right back in her cage after i drie her off when she goes in her cage she goes and sits on her basking spot for a few minutes the explores her cage...........and when i first got her she was so aggressive she would charge at people trying to bite and she was 20 inch’s now she is 30 inch’s and she loves to be held and will come when i have food she isn’t afraid of me.... also since i posted this i have not sean any bubbles or drool also she has a cage mate but he doesn’t have the symptoms she does ,also she ate today with no problem

Possible respiratory infection Glad you haven’t noticed any more symptoms. Keep an eye on both of them, just a thought as well that a cage mate could be part of the issue, even though eveything seems fine between them they are very adapted to hiding stress and illness so there could be the chance of stress causing some symptoms.

Possible respiratory infection Its possible, normally solitary animals can get stressed out sharing an enclosure with another animal and eventually become stressed which can lead to illness. I can’t say this is what’s going on but it is a possibility. Just keep an eye on them, usually there are competitions over basking spots, hides, etc. My two were great for about two months, shared a hide, hunted together and then one day it flipped and one was not using the hide, not being as responsive at feeding time as usual among other things. Because of my limited space I gave it to a friend of mine who had a nice large cage and the means to care for it and its bounced back to its old self. With monitors their signs of stress are very well hidden and hard to spot so just keep an eye out for little things and watch for more signs of illness to return.
