Ive been feeding him 2 hopper mice every other day and just 1 hopper mouse on the inbetween days, so mice everyday on top of steady crickets. Is that too much? Hes about 2 and a half feet long.

#2263740 Mdf View Profile	Message To: Milkweed666   In reference to Message Id: 2263722  Nile growin like crazy from about 18" upto 30" i fed mainly bugs well gut loaded & she rocketed up in growth, then there comes a point when they want mice/chicks/fish etc, i used fishing tackle shops for pre-packed fish & i fed mainly fish as she came off insects, just make sure there’s a good variety of food when ever possible, mice/chicks/fish etc! :)

#2263772 Stephen foo View Profile	Message To: Milkweed666   In reference to Message Id: 2263764  Nile growin like crazy Mark feeds day old dead chicks pre-packed and frozen , once defrosted there easily snipped up with a pair of scissors but watch the yolk sac doesn’t burst on you LOL , food and correct heating and basking spots will see these guys grow at a decent rate , prepare for a 6ft plus nile :) Steve

#2263782 Mdf View Profile	Message To: Milkweed666   In reference to Message Id: 2263777  Nile growin like crazy as Steve said!! :) also i fed alot of eel & trout which are easier & less messy to cut up & they digest quicker, but with the right basking spot flood mice/chicks are easily digested once you’ve cut them to the right size. they can & will rip their prey to pieces if need be, but it’s less messy cutting them your self!! here’s what a 4 foot female can do with a mouse!! :)
