#2264266 Gatorhunter View Profile	Croc eggs and snake My female croc is at it again and this egg has me thinking maybe my new female I bought is really a small male. Its snout is starting to yellow which is some say is a male characteristic. This eggs was on the surface but looks pretty decent and is nicely shelled. She appeared to be laying the rest when I checked on tonight. Looks to be about a foot or more into the ground so maybe I will get lucky. croc egg vs ackie p.s if anyone knows anything about corn snakes could you please tell me what a starburst breed to a caramel butter het bloodred might produce. Had 15 of those also today

They were a little chilly so I grabbed them up. Hope it doesn’t bother her to much. She didn’t nest in the best of places but hasn’t in tue past for that matter.

The other two are not quite as nice as this one but all are oval and shelled nicely so who knows. Her timing I horrible lol. Last year I was fighting a cold spell and this year I just moved and don’t have the cage up to par yet. I got 32 inches of dirt piled up with a heat mat to keep stable temps but she choose a mulch pile near the lights. She looks really good though and hasn’t lost much weight. I have been worried since her prolaspe but looks like she is back on track. This is her 3rd time that I know of to lay eggs so maybe I will get more chances to get this ironed out and perfected. Hope my tristis goes the distance in a few days. It will be a packed incubator then :)

I have three looking good and three that look like crap after one night in incubator. She is doing great and in good weight for dropping 6 eggs. I remember seeing your crocs mating but missed the follow up. What was the outcome?

They would be 2nd generation captive born correct? Yours are from reptile rangers if I remember correctly. On the subject of crocs. Do you still have that picture of a monster sized croc monitor someone brought to prehistoric pets years ago? I think the guy in it had a beard.
