WOW Boy I can’t figure this out, I saw no mating, thought she was just starting to cycle. The next day I see a skinny female, so I figure small clutch she wasn’t that bid and she doesn’t look to bad now. So I was chomping at the bit all day waiting for her to come out again. What tunnel system by the way it went all the way around the bottom of the cage branching off here and there, it was a shame to wreck it. All the way a the end of the cage in a chamber of the main burrow I found 16 eggs. I almost shat. 2 are duds 1 is questionable 12 look good a couple dents here and there no biggie. 2 fuzzies and a couple dozen crix later mom don’t look to bad. Hopefully some of these hatch for me. Take it easy This is a9x9 container.

WOW It was a burrow of to the side of her main burrow at the end of it if that makes sense. I’ll try that again, her main burrow was between 3 and four feet long wrapped went on a angle to the bottom and turned went down the length of the cage towards the heat turned at the corner went 2 feet to the other corner and came back towards the entrance. At the end of that it took a left about 10’’ into a chamber. it bear ed off a little in different directions. I actually thought I was bumming when I got to the end and nothing, and then I found the turn into the chamber. I took me well over a hour to find them, she has been working on that for over a week. I was really sorry to wreck it, it was amazing really. And the eggs were nested at a balmy 86 degrees again, blows my mind how she does that every time. Take it easy.

WOW thanks every body, but I only feed her. I didn’t even think she was gravid yet. She must realize how bad I am at incubating and gave me a few more chances. Never mind eggs or hatching it was great to explore that burrow it was a hour and a half of amazement really. As much as I would like to hatch some my main goal right now is to get her laying and recovering healthy. But yeah huge clutch, I was shocked. Take it easy

WOW Honestly after hearing that it was in a side path of her burrow, I’m curious what I’ll find if I dig out my savannahs!
