 Leaf Litter

Can I use leaves from bamboo plants/trees? Is leaf litter supposed to just sit on the top of the substrate to hold in humidity? I’m sure my girl will do all kinds of things with it. Is it important to keep it spread on top, or can it be combined into the soil?

Thanks!

Just set it on top of the substrate. The lizard will pretty much smash it up, shuffle it around and mix it with the substrate itself. But yes pretty much it’s good for holding humidity.
As far as using bamboo leaves, I think it should be fine.

Yep, as Norf said just throw it in on top and it will get "re-arranged". Leaves are leaves IMO whatever you got just throw it in.
