It’s quite small at 8’x4’x4’ I just unfortunately had toadopt a 3 year old 40in Varanus niloticus. under weight ...ugh. apparently it wasn’t as fun loving as the previous owner wanted it to be. After all I am a conservationist and had the space so it is what it is. The Nile is currently in quarantine for 30 days till I can rule out worms and finish with his/her blood and fecal samples. I don’t touch any monitor I receive for 30 days after I receive them so they can adjust. I will be having a licensed electrician installing my lighting....I’m probably not a good source for economical cage tips, I spare no expense when it comes to my animals. What ever works for you and ensures a healthy monitor is what matters.
