Mushroom growing in cage??? 
I went to turn on the basking light just now and noticed there is a mushroom growing in the middle of the cage along the back wall. It’s grey in color and about half an inch in diameter with an inch and a half stem. I don’t know what to say. Is this a bad thing? I never expected anything to possibly grow if I placed it in there, Much less something I didn’t put in there. I’m using about 50/50 Top Soil : Play Sand if that helps at all.

well at night time when those bright lights are off, them mushrooms is growin off in that moist soil. you got in there. and at night time when the temps drop a little bit. they’re allready formed about a inch under the soil before you even see it. and next thing ya know they pop out at cha. it does the same thing in my sav cage. but hey it lets you know you got some healthy soil or, it wouldnt wanna harvest any life. just yank em out as they pop up, thats what i do
