Looking for White Throat info
A bit of backstory info to give you the full picture- i have been keeping reptiles for around 20 years and am currently working on a bachelors in wildlife biology, and doing educational shows and nuisance relocation here in TX. The focus of my studies is crocodilians, specifically Alligators, which i have worked with in the past and plan to in the future. I have wanted a decent sized, intelligent monitor for a ver long time now, and have decided on a white throat. The size is more managable for me, and i think with a lot of work, and trust building, will be a stunning addition to my shows. The problem seems to be in finding one, of late. Since Tanzania closed itself to exports, pickins seem slim. I wanted to purchase in about 6- months to a year time frame, to allow time for us to settle into our new home, and to build caging and stock up on supplies for the new addition. Could anyone direct me to a breeder or dealer? I would prefer a baby, but thats negotiable. Thanks in advance. Zac Freer. |
