Just working out the heating the substrate bugs. Trough is hidden in the bottom. WHich is reinforced with 2x6’s to hold the weight.

I like the idea of hiding the trough inside so you don’t have that eye sore. Where are you building it if you don’t mind me asking? It look’s like an industrial type workshop.

#2276864 Kriminaal View Profile	Message To: Adam L   In reference to Message Id: 2276861  Trough enclosures Yes, I work at a custom cabinet shop. So it’s fairly easy to create the cabinet part. Tricky part is building them so able to be disassembled for getting into the house.

These enclosures are awesome, they hold 24" of substrate and are completely water/rot proof. Crank up the heat and humidity with no worries of rotting or warping! They are perfect for "Indo Forest" types. Just thought I’d offer another option for you. Mike
