 What happened!!

My niles’ tail is drying up almost like it’s dead,WHAT IS HAPPENING AND SHOULD I TAKE HIM TO THE VET NOW?

 ASAP, it should have been there when it first started.

It sounds like an injury from a highly stressed, sickly animal that tail whips alot to prevent from being handled. If it looks like its dieing and shriveling up its like gangrene in a way, it will keep dieing for a bit.
Get it to the vet ASAP!!!!

when we first got ours his tail was very thin he had a severe respiratory disease and was not given any food in a long time. so yours could be dehydrated and severely underfed. they store a lot of fat in their tails.
