 What moitor to get

hi im very excpirencet with herp i have over 40 iggys,dragons,geckos,skinks but i now want a monitor that fits theres specs must get no bigger then 4 or 4.5 feet needs to be more offten then not tame/easy to tame and handle i whould also like it to be a agile aquotic moitor but if none fit what i want ill take a stocky one like a sav or black throught so please let me know what you think guys.

Hmmm 4-4.5 ft likes to swim and can be handled easily. I would suggest dumerils in of the others in this category are going to be flighty.

I would suggest some research. A 4-5 ft aquatic monitor is going to need a 10ft (L) x 5ft (w) x 4ft(H). and if it is aquatic then you will need an area for swimming.

Have you looked into an ArgusXFlavi? They have that streamlined look and are pretty much in your size range...
They are the most calm of monitors but they are extremely active and intelligent. Maybe if you could find a way to get some hands on experience with one you could see....

Just a thought.

Did you loose some reptiles? If you have that many then you should be experienced unless of course you just purchased all of them. If you do have experience and have been caring for reptiles for awhile you should be able to choose the monitor that best fits you.

BTW- how old are you? Just asking because your spelling and use of words makes you sound young. This can play a key factor into what some may suggest as a good monitor for you.

They have a reputation for being skittish, but mangrove monitors fit your desired description perfectly other than the skittish part. I here they ( generelizing) don’t bite, stay around 4 1/2 feet and have the resemblance of a small water monitor. They do look different, but as far as the slender monitor type of build they have resemblance.
