I dont know 
now i work 8-5 and i have my monitor lights timed and when i come home he is in the hide wont come out now should i take him out or let him come out he also aint so nice but still a baby i just think he dont like me but always trying to earn his trust and i dont wont to use food to get him out

| well thanks i will put the lights on 24/7 but i dont think that matters because he only out from 8 am to around 3 pm not to much play time and when i take him out its just a fight tail whiping and hissing but once i get him he starts to calm down he is only 10 inches |

| where did you get that monitors "need" a photoperiod? Two of the best monitor breeders (goanna ranch and proexotics) keep all their monitors on 24/7 basking schedules. why? because why should we choose when the monitor needs to get light and bask? why should they not have basking temps all day long? |
