If he’s talking about crested gecko, then there is no type. Crested gecko is a crested gecko. I own one. Now looking at other lizards as he isn’t active at all.

That’s a morph, not really a type. At least not in the sense he is asking. A question of what type would be like asking which species of monitor to get. Crested is one species. It doesn’t matter which morph you get, that’s personal preference.

I know they are nocturnal, I take him out about 10 to 11 at night in the dark, still not much activity. The gargoyle I had was only active whenever you tried to touch him or pick him up.



Yes I know it’s in the daylight, but can’t take much of a photo in the dark.

And sorry for this going on in the monitor forum. Please don’t take it out on me when I begin my post with questions about monitors.
