that’s a good one KAP.PREDATORMAN if you have to ask what monitor you should get i would say you should get something besides a monitor.it don’t sound you have done any research at all on any monitors so i would say stick with beardies or something like that.a monitor is a lot of responsibility and work not to mention the money it takes as well.say you buy a cheap nile monitor for only 25 that 25 will double in 1 month!i have spent 100s of money once a month for food and caging so you better have a good job or rich parents.

predator. i think what you did, is read a page or two in a book, and saw a cute wittle lizard which would suit you well. Trust me, i have wanted a nile monitor for years, and i could buy one easily if i wanted, but i KNOW how they are, that they will get huge, and hard to care for. and if its already bitten you 5 times, i wouldnt count on it being nice, or freindly at all. some monitors you could play with all day every day, sooner or later, expect to be bitten, thats MY number one rule when keeping, or handling ANY dangerous animal (tarantulas, centipedes, monitors, snakes) ALWAYS be ready to get bitten, not even the most experinced keepers in the world can prepare for a bite, and im sure SHvar and razeraze think the same thing, because it has happened to them before, and they know. i wish you good luck on your lizard, and you are a much braver man than i am. i hope to someday, when i get my own house, a job, etc. to own one of these, good luck.

monitorkid that was probably the most intelligent thing you have ever said. understanding the behavior of the animal can help you not get bit but accidents do happen so expect it.
