 Quick question

There is really no need to try and sterilize logs, branches, etc by putting them in the oven. Simply washing them off with a hose should be just fine.

 Quick question

I wouldn’t worry much about bugs. If you’re setting up a Timor, you should be planning on using a leaf litter substrate. Are you planning on washing all the leaves as well?

 Quick question

Well i got some leaves to but i didnt think they’d need to be baked you could simple look at them for bugs, as for the logs bugs could be hiding in tiny holes of the logs or etc. I want to take care of this the safe way for my monitor so.. your saying just wash the logs off? or.. ?

thanks.

 Quick question

just hose them down. you dont have to worry about mites and a hose should wash any ticks off if there is any to begin with. you dont need to bake it at all.

 Quick question

I don’t how large the cage is going to be, but I would think that it will take quite a bit of leaf litter to provide a nice deep substrate. You will want to compact the leaf litter down after putting in the cage. Inspecting every leaf is not really practical or necessary.

So as I said before, I wouldn’t worry about baking the wood to kill bugs or other cooties.
