Does any1 know where you can get them in PA or in NY or NJ? I think therre kool and if they have them I will do research I mean a lot of research and I might get one.O also could u all post some pics plz!

minimum cage size is 4x2x2, but bigger is always bigger for monitors. i dont know what that is in gallons but i think that 120.

you can get them shipped from breeders all over the country.

yes, they are a good beginner monitor.

Well i go to the reptile expo in NY every other month and they always have ackies 4 about $130 to $180 but u can always talk them down. you dont need to big of an enclosure because they only get to about 2.5ft so u do the math but remember bigger is better :)

if you can get to the hamberg reptile show in hamberg pa, im sure theres plenty of ackies there. i think the proper name for the show is northern berks pennsylvania reptile show. check the dates on kingsnake.com under the events page. -john

In PA?
You can get live birds shipped through the postal service on 2 day delivery, live reptiles, insects, amphibians, from any shipping service such as UPS, Fed Ex, Airborne Express, etc. You must sign an agreement to ship animals through them, and not through a UPS store.
You cannot ship live mammals except through an airline, you can use an airline to ship almost any animals. The only exceptions are venomous snakes (on airlines only).
I know this one well from helping a friend deal with the courier services with his business when he started to ship live reptiles. Overnight delivery or airlines are the best and fastest.
Its not illegal at all.
If you want a red ackie, a female, contact me, be sure to be serious about it, shes an adult and red ackies are noticeably more expensive than yellows. Im reducing my collection, Im entertaining the thought of letting her go. PM me for info, as posting animals available is not permitted on the forums.
Shes dirty here. Im in PA. I currently have a young pair also but Im keeping them.
