 Your lizard... My lizard....
Hi, it’s been awhile since I’ve been on.... went on vacation back to my home town and had a blast, but am glad to be home with the "kids". I noticed a lot of new posts and was pleased to see them ( sorry to everyone who is struggling with their lezard lezards).... But, I would like to say "hi" and share myself and our lizards with you, in hopes that you will do the same!

Justin and I..... both 19 and live in Texas.
Our first... Cobain- we beleive him to be an A. Lepidogaster.
This is Sidney... We saw him and couldn’t pass him up! A. Capra.
We’ve had a new addition... Occifer. And we also beleive this one to be an A. Lepidogaster- since all of the markings are exactly like Cobain.... but we expect this one to be female. Occifer is all brown with a hint of green on the backs of her legs, and the tail base is as big as Cobain’s, if not a slight bit bigger. But, only time with tell! As soon as we download FinePix, we will take pictures of our lizards and post them!
Please, post a little bit about yourselves and your lizards.... I love to share.

Ohhhh 2 be 19 again  well my little guy isnt as pritty as yours but anyway i picked him up at a "pet store" i know but i couldnt say no to that pathetic looking thing, i knew he needed help...
and now that he is being taken care of right he has turned into a little pig..
he is about 6 or 7 inches now and i cant wait to put him in the 55 gallon and get a buddy 4 him that is if i can, do they get along with each other?lisa

He still looks just a bit thin to me but does look so much better it’s hard to imagine that he is the same pathetic looking lizard! Good job! Try to get his little legs fattened up too. I am wondering if perhaps some wax worms are in order for some of these really thin emaciated looking guys to help them build up a little fat reserve. They need a bit so that they don’t fade so fast if they do get ill again.Anyway, he looks much much better! Way to go!

I think I read that he is a Capra. I adopted him at 2 weeks and have been working hard to keep him healthy. He is my only baby, Captive Born but I don’t know if bred. The people at the reptile show I got him at did not know anything. So I have been researching like crazy. Thanks for your interest. He is tooo sweet since I havve raised him so long. Sleeps on my finger, goes for car rides, etc. Doing well. Here are pics from when he was about 4 weeks old.

TOO skinny? NO
but they will fatten up a bit more
my Erowen is a Porker now
her legs are HUGE compared to all the others I haveand if you look at FroggieB’s Website Photos, those dragons are on the plump side too but those ones under your care seem to have a good amount of Muscle under it all, U can stop worrying anytime you want

Thank you.... I had just seen everyone else’s lizard legs- and they seemed much bigger than mine...
To anyone that may know... How do I know if they don’t like each other? The other day we fed them and Cobain attacked Occifer a couple times and bit her! I broke it up, but he continued to try and go after her, so I took her out of the cage after this.... I’m a little concerned by it... I don’t know if he hates her or what’s going on... any help would help!

Hi, finally got some pics of Osiris with my webcam so sorry on quality of pics. Had him wormed but haven’t had a chance to get the fecal test, only vet that deals with reptiles that I can find charges 30 dollars for the test and 29 dollars per animal to see her.
Have to take my turtle in for some treatment so waiting on Osiris sorry to say.
Here’s the pic.
I was wondering how long they get without the tail added in?
Also my wife feeds Osiris 3 medium sized worms a day, but he has not gone to the bathroom yet that we can tell and we have had him a week now. Wormed him 2 days ago.

UHOH, I finally read over all of FroggieB’s site and found the section on male and female, what I thought might be growth problems on her backside turned out to be her hips (ya I don’t know much about females do I? thwaps self) Turns out Osiris is an Isis.
We got to wondering if the larger MHD that was in the same tank as her at the petstore was a male and her companion. That one was larger and ran around the tank to avoid the pet store guy, while Isis didn’t move at all. So now I’m wondering how old she might be and if that other was a male if she might lay fertal eggs, gonna go back to pet store after work tomorrow and see if the other one is there and if so try to see what sex it is.
Or I might just be jumping to conclusions.

I hate to post pics since I do so often. Also, if anyone has been to the site they have seen some of the best shots. But, here are a few:three-mo-old CB A. capra
 WC A. armata - 1st is both animals, second is supposed to be a male and third is supposed to be female
 
CB A. capra - Garnet has passed on but was a sweetie while I was allowed to care for her

Marcia, those are adorable babies and big lizards- they look so good! We were wondering, do you have any armata babies- and if so are you willing to sell them- and for how much?? We love the armatas but have never seen them at any of the pet stores around here- just lepidogasters and capras! Let me know

Don’t have any armata offspring yet. I am not even 100% positive that the male is a male. I got this pair from someone in Texas. I know he found eggs but never seemed fertile. I am waiting to find out which lays the eggs and am only hoping that they are a pair.Marcia
