I’m interested, but I need a photo and a sex on the lizards. I really need females. Infact, I can only do with females.

I’m lookly mainly at A. cpara, also A.coronata. Anyway, if you can give me more info, I would be more than glad to take them off your hands.

Wow I am so sorry. I have a female Acanthosaura capra and a male Acanthosaura crucigera or Acanthosaura lepidogaster cant tell, maybe you can but I know that the female is an A. capra

Oh, but first I want to be certain it is a female. If you could be a pal, please post one more photo of under the tail, with the tail bent upwards.

Sorry to ask so much, but I can’t afford a mess-up, and taking someone’s word for it is hard!

Well, I can only take a female. So yeah... but she would be happily living with several other MHDs in a nice big tank (over six feet tall), with a big water dish and all the crikcets and earthworms she could ever want. Oh, but I was doing some pondering, I think you might have two males. And the one you call male, Well in the first picture he looks like another ’version’ of capra, but mising a few spines.

Tell me what you think.

I know the first one is a male, but the second one looks like a female to me. Look at the base of the tail and you could see 2 bumps. I will try to get the underside pic. to you soon.

I don’t think that is a very good way of telling sex (looking at the bumbs). I have known males that have those bumbs. I believe that is the hip bones... I never was too clear on that. Anyhow, it’s not a real promising method... I’d stick to hemipene bulges. A pic of the underside will help though.
