Reptairiums Does anyone know if you can place ceramic heat lamps, with hood, on the mesh of the enclosure without ruining it?

Reptairiums
I’m not 100%, but I would set it up while you’ll be able to watch it and see what happens. I have a incandescent heat bulb that is in a small hood (aquarium type) right on top of my reptarium. I leave it on all the time(it doesn’t produce light) and haven’t had a prob. I also am using another 10 gal. aquarium size hood with incandescent "full spectrum" reptile bulbs in it and they get really hot. The bulbs are not touching the screen, but they are less than an inch off it. Therefore, I think it is a pretty melt/burn resistant material. Just try it, and check like every 1/2 hour for damage. That’s my advice.
