MHD not eating I recently recieved a mhd from a lady who didnt have time for him anymore. So me being the soft hearted person that I am and a reptile lover, I bought him. He ate crickets the first day I had him but I cant seem to get him to eat anymore. i have tried worms also and no go. When I got him less than a week ago he hadnt finished shedding so he is two different colors. She had a large water dish for him but I didnt see him get in it so I went out and bought a airstone and pump. When I first put it in there he got in and rolled around in it rubbing up against stuff. It was so cute. He will occasionally sit in it now and soak. I just didnt know how often they should eat or if he is just stressed??? I have a bearded dragon and two box turtles but this is totally different. Any suggestions would be great.

MHD not eating They rarely shed the whole body at once so two toned is common. Let it settle in a bit. Visiting the water bowl is a good sign. Keep offering food. Less than a week isn’t to bad if it’s an adult.

MHD not eating Yay, I got him to eat several superworms. He just turned his nose up at the earthworms though. Picky eater I guess
