 Cage Accessories

We just purchased a MHD from our local Petsmart, i got a large water bowl and air pump and air stone to put in it. But I’m trying to figure out what else i should get to help keep the tank humid for him. We have him in a 45gal bow front tank so theres quite a bit of room for him.

The bubbler is the most important thing. I mist my cage several times a day to help with the humidity. You can use a foggers or waterfall, which help and I have used in the past, but now I just have a large bowl and bubbler, and just mist often!

Live plants will help with humidity. You can plant them or leave them in their pots.

Let it settle in a little. Just keep offering something. You might want to have a fecal done if you got him from PetSmart. I got my first 2 there and lost one within a month even after a couple hundred dollars in vet bills. Parasites.
