 Thank You!

Thank you so much Bonnie. The little dragon you gave me is soo cute. I finally saw him eat today and then I fed my dragon a horned worm, he ate it without a problem. I also think he ate the other one i set near him or it was the other little dragon you gave me. so I’m really happy.

You are welcome. It was a pleasure talking to your class. I would like to post the pictures of your enclosure if that alright with you. You did a wonderful job on it. I’m sure the dragons will be very happy there. Glad to see they are eating. The hornworms almost always worked for me.

Yeah, go ahead and post the pictures. I think it would be great for other people to get some more ideas to design their cages. Also where do I buy horned worms. I like those.

 Thank You!

Chrissy took a china cabinet and painted it. She added a dirt floor with pebbles. Plants and vines. Both real and artificial. A fountain. UVB and a small heat lamp. Her temps went from 68 at the bottom to 90 at the top so they have any range that they might need. The dragons are sometimes hard to find because of the amount of vines but they hide well in nature also. I believe this will help them adapt to the classroom. There is a lock on the cage so other students do not have access to them. Chrissys mother and friend help with the misting and feeding.

I get the Hornworms from Greatlakes Hornworms. He is local so if you send an email maybe you can work something out to get just the smaller ones. They do get VERY large in a short amount of time. Perhaps you could arrange to get some at the Taylor show if you go sometime.

There are videos of my dragons eating his hornworms on his site. Not the best videos but lets you know the critters like them.
