A pic of our new MHD

Hopefully this will work. This is our new MHD, The Joker. I’d love to know a little about him/her. For example is it a him or a her, and what type? Any idea how old he is? It’s all new to me.

He’s so cute and mellow.

Hard to determine age but it looks young by the size of the crests. You’ll need a picture of the tail base (top and bottom) to help with sexing. It still might be to young to sex. Here’s a picture of Monroes tail base. You can see a bulge. The tail kind of looks like a Y. The females tail will taper down evenly. Go to Froggie B for a better explaination.

he is very green!! i see you have one of those water falls, i had the same exact one, I got rid of it though becasue he had a hard time seeing the water move, and i had to switch over to a bubbler. how does yours do with it. You might want to consider getting him something that is more visable to him [only if he is having a hard time seeing it now]
