Try horned worms mine LOVE those. Just make sure their not tomato horned worms that will kill them. Also I leave crickets in with them but i have a big cage for them. So if you have a small cage I wouldnt leave crickets with them. Also there very secretive so watch the number of insects you put in.

If im not mistaken mhds dont eat if they are gravid. Is she still fat or is she really skinny. Usually they cant survive not eating for 6 months. I dont think they have much reserves to live from. Has she been with any males in the past year? Is she digging around in her cage? If you dont get dirt you should get some for her to dig in to make her possible nest.

Your dragon has to be eating something or she would have perished by now. The hornworms are great but as Chrissy was saying don’t feed any wild caught ones. Only ones ordered from a breeder or reptile food store. The ones that feed off tomato (or tobacco) plants are toxic.

MHD do eat when they are gravid. Quite alot in fact. Some of them will stop eating just before laying though. They need extra food and calcium when gravid.

well the thing is we monter very closely how many worms we put into the cage... because we put them in a dish and since she doesnt eat them they die and we throw them out.
we have had her for a year now, and in the last 6 months (since the end of November she has not eaten at all) but she is still very lively.

That is very unusual. Please keep us updated. Any pictures of her?
