 Mountain Horned Dragons

I am having trouble finding an MHD. I was wondering where everyone on here got theirs from. If somone could point me towards an online breeder it would be greatly appreciated.

I bought mine from a pet store3 years ago.I’ve been wanting to buy a female and have searched the web trying to find a local breeder.(I want to see what I’m buying.)But haven’t had any luck.The pet store where I bought mine said they could order me a female. But like i said I want to see what I’m getting.I’ve got a dark brown Male and would like a green female. So good luck and if you find someone give me a shout.

At least here in ohio, Petsmart sells captive bred MHD’s. At least they say they are, but I’m pretty sure it’s true, as they are usually very young, still with horns, and healthy, good eaters. And the people I know who have gotten them from there have had good luck, but I don’t know if they can actually order a specific sex, especially since they are usually a bit young...
If you’re looking for a local breeder, not too many people know tis species well, but there are some people on here that are breeders...

There is no breeder supplying anyone with the quantity that Petsmart gets.
Our first one came from Petsmart several years ago. Full grown female.
DamnitBonnie breeds them, FroggieB had to sell hers.
We have no males to go with our females right now.

I’m not sure who is having success breeding right now.
Our 2 females are still too small in our opinion to breed and the big one who has had her eggs hatched before is getting along in age and is very aggressive.

i have 6 mhd hatchliings for sale. but i would want to wait until warmer weather to ship. i have sold and shipped successfully to someone else. mine are captive bred/hatched and handled daily, from a wild caught breeding pair that i bought from a local pet store. in fact she laid 24 more eggs not so long ago that i’m incubating.

I’d sell for a reasonable cost but i have to be sure that they’d be going to an ideal and permanent home.
