 2 new species

This has just been published, a description of two new species of Acanthosaura:

Wood Jr., Perry L., Grismer, Jesse L., Grismer, L. Lee, Ahmad, Norhayati, Onn, Chan Kin & Aaron M. Bauer. 2009. Two new montane species of Acanthosaura Gray, 1831 (Squamata: Agamidae) from Peninsular Malaysia. Zootaxa 2012: 28-46.

Acanthosaura bintangensis appears similar to A. crucigera with a plain brown background with orange ocelli.

Acanthosaura titiwangsaensis appears more like A. armata with an orange dewlap, labial region and dorsal crest, and frontal region with orange ocelli in the posterior region of the body that become indistinct anteriorly. Ocelli appear on the tail base, then has banding becoming indistinct posteriorly.

Although colour patterns are part of the species descriptions (other than what I wrote), the primary basis of the descriptions are morphological.
