Missing horns are normal during shipping, none of mine had theirs, that is not a big deal. The knees and elbows could be normal too, if it is just like, the scales that got scraped off, if it is actual flesh showing that could be very bad and get infected. I’d say he was probably wild caught and has been through a whole lot of rough shipping and handling, which really sucks and is very sad. It is fantastic that he ate right away, make sure to keep him very hydrated and try to offer crickets or a nightcrawler which have more nutrition in them. I would get to a vet ASAP, he will probably need some antibiotics, and you may end up having to force feed, which isn’t too very hard, but you definatley want to get those lumps looked at. deri |
