 Mouth injury on MDH

My son’s MDH Diablo has been sick and I have been caring for him. I have followed the directions from Froggie B and he seemed to be doing better. He had a bit more energy when I was feeding him with a dropper, he squirmed and bit down on the dropper and now his mouth is injured. It appears that part of the row of teeth are pulled off. Is there anything to do to help him? I’m afraid to feed him with a dropper now. I have just been dropping the pedialyte and baby food mixture on his mouth, hoping he will atleast get a little food. Can I use Vaseline, or an ointment of some kind to keep it moist? Any advice would be helpful, I live in Montana-and none of the vets anywhere near me know much at all about MDH’s. Thankds

The best thing you can do is keep it clean.....Take some betadine and mix it with some water...make it tea colored, take a q-tip dip it in the betadine and clean his gums & lips real good...
