Worried MHD Owner!!!

I have had my MHD since March and I’ve had nothing but problems with him so far. Bought from Petsmart which now I don’t think was a very "smart" thing to do! He’s been treated for pin worm and capillaria ova.
Just when i got him free of worms his toes started falling off. After another vet bill, oral antibiotics, cream for him and sleepless nights for me, thought he was doing good. Now last night I noticed his chest which is usually an orange color has white patches all over and his chin looks "white" too! Is this from shedding? or trying to shed? Last weekend I changed his terrarium and added a huge waterfall with lots of branches, driftwood (that I boiled first) and plastic plants. Still giving him his two warm baths a day. He’s still eating good and seems happy. What could these white patches be??? I don’t want to have to take him to the vet again. It’s too stressful for the both of us.

It sounds like it could be shedding, they do turn white/pale and kinda dry looking, and they actually shed in parts, like first the head and neck, then the legs, then more of the body...not necessarily in that order, but all at different times. It sounds like you are doing everything fantastically for him, two baths a day would equal nice and hydrated which means he should not have shedding problems! You should know within a few days or so he should start shedding. If you can post a picture we could maybe tell you for sure?? Don’t get discouraged, he is very lucky to have you, many people don’t go as far as you have to make their reptiles or pets happy and healthy again!
