 Quick question about light

should i be using a basking bulb or a standard 60 wattt bulb some one told me not to use the bskingbulb

MHD’s DO NOT like it hot. Definitely do not use a basking bulb. If your temps stay very low, you can use a lower wattage blue or red reptile bulb. you ideally want the warmest day temps to be around 78/80 degrees. Never over 85, and of course, cooler at night is just fine! And you want the humidity to be around 60%, mist several times a day to raise it periodically.
