 What do you feed Your MHD the most?

I feed superworms the most and about a pinkie every 1 to 3 weeks.

hmm superworms arent great to feed the most they are very hard on the outside. I feed earthworms and silkies the most :D (well used to anyway) Hey Gravel1, i would try earthworms and night crawlers. All those supers could cause digestive problems try feeding rosy red minnows too offer as much variety as possible :D

Yes red wigglers work great too. I feed nightcrawlers appropriately size or size them myself. I used to feed as many as few as 2-3 to sometimes 6-7. it juts depends on how hungry they are. They are a really great staple though :D

Mine get nightcrawlers the most. They’ll eat one or two at a time, every two or three days. I also give them crickets about once a week, and occasionally superworms and waxworms. If you can find them, usually just online, silkworms and phoenix worms are great for some variety.
I have never given mine pinkies, I dust their crix with calcium occasionally, and nightcrawlers are also high in calcium. I know some breeders on here gave their females a pinky or two after they laid eggs to give them some extra calcium.

My Larry eats two or three earthworms a day when she is at her best...but sometimes she will skip a day or too. If she is gravid she won’t eat for awhile and then I have to give her electrolytes and lots of water to keep her hydrated. She isn’t big on the crickets though!

Ya I’m feeding red wigglers now she is a female so I feed her a pinkie every now and then and it is like wax worms to her and she likes any type of worm over crix.
