Injured MHD, what to do?
hi, i am going to be picking up my first MHD tomorrow morning( a male ), at the same time i might be getting a female, she was hurt while being shipped or something. She is missing one of her front feet and the end of her tail, she is climbing well still and looks healthly besides the leg and tail, seems to be healing fine. my question is should i get her or not? i have looked after injured animals before (never a MHD), and would like to give her a good home where she will be taken care of. If i do get her, could i get some info on how to clean and take care of her leg please. Thanks!

Injured MHD, what to do? Oh that poor little thing....do you know is it still an open wound?..Your best bet would be to get her to a vet ASAP and go from there...Tending to wounds is not that bad...you may have to make her viv up for a handicapped dragon.. lot of ramps & such......but that’s not hard...I’ve taken in LOTS of rescues and they pull at your heart strings.....Well keep us posted..Good Luck..

Injured MHD, what to do? Hi, okay i got her(the hurt MHD) too, now i need to know what to do to make her feel better. The wound in not open, looking at it it seems to be pretty old, it is completely dried up around it and i can’t see any sign of infection. I will try and get some pictures no here asap. I would still love to know how to make her as comfortable as possible, so the healing can be fast and easy for her. Thanks!
