Parasites in wood i just brought wood in from outside, and going to be putting into my enclosure with my snake, but there to long to fit into the freezer or oven, any other way to kill them off, its like -10 outside, so is there even any in the wood because its freezing outside? or could i just spray prevent-a-mite or something on it?

Parasites in wood Put it in a bath tub with water and some bleach for a couple hours. Let it air dry until the stench is completely gone.

Parasites in wood well i let them soak under hot water over night, didnt use any bleach or anything becuase i didnt want it soaking into the wood, but im going to give the wood a shower again today, then let them dry, then when i go to the reptile show this weekend im going to pick up some provent a mite, and spray the wood, im sure that stuff would be able to kill parasites, even if they lasted under water...
