i have a few peices of drift wood that used to be in my snakes cage when they had mites. they have ben sitting in my garage for about 6 munths. at what temp in the oven could i bake them to make sure all the mites are dead with out catching the wood on fire. i dont care if the wood gets a little burnt as long as it dosent catch on fire.

try 200 F for 1and a half hours or 150 f for 3 hours.or even maybe 250 for an hour(thats what I would do)that should kill about everything even the eggs
