 Mites

i had an infestation of mites in one of my vivs, i removed the snake and all the decor and everything from the viv, it has now been 4 weeks and there are no sign of any mites in the viv, when would it be safe to put a snake back in?

I think your best bet is to go buy a solution. my ball python just died of mites and i just cleaned him like that, i washed him i kinda whipped him down with a rough rag and he died so defiantly get something......its worth it

No. Mites have a gestation period of at least 30 days, and the adults can actually live for some time without feeding.
You need to treat with a product that kills adult mites as well as their eggs and larva. I use Provent-A-Mite. It is very effective, and kills all stages of the mite.
