Plz answer flourescent bulbs are supposed to be full spectrum, but i don’t think they work as well as the mercury bulbs.... i’m not really sure tho.... i use direct sunlight, and my plants do just fine... i just remember reading somewhere that mercury bulbs were the most recommended, and you can buy them just about anywhere!!!

Plz answer dont use mercury bulbe they get very hot and will double your electric bill. go to your hardware store and get a little coiled fluorescent they are cheap to use and all the plants need is light to be able to produce sugar. or u can get a tubular fluorescent and get the one made be GE that is made for plant & aquarium . you could even use just a cool white bulb. i have experimented with over 15 bulbe along with others i kow who have used different bulbs and all the mercury will do is get the cops at ur house thinkin ur growing weed. dont waste ur money just get a fluorescent.
