Anyone live in Seattle, WA area?
I have a Tawny that my son gave me before he left for Oklahoma. He said George wouldn’t make the trip because of stress. Anyway, I scared to lift him and put him the sink with water like my son did. And, I feed him crix, but how often should I feed him? My son said every other day but when I walk past George’s tank he comes out expecting to be fed. He was supposed to be fed today but I went up to Petco and yesterday I noticed all but 5 were dead so I called Petco and talked to the manager and he said they got a bad batch of crix and told me to go in today but with the snow and ice I couldn’t get out since my husband took my car since it had studs on. I will go up tomorrow morning. But should I feed him mealies once in awhile, like trade days for crux?

Anyone live in Seattle, WA area? Yes, I live in tacoma and it was difficult for me as well with the traffic and stuff. it can be hard keeping platy’s around here cause not a lot of people have exotics here so advice is short to come by. I have 3 platy’s 2 monster black lines and one smaller yellow lined, wishing for another yellow lined baby, so gotta find a breeder but thats slim pickings too. I feed mine the crix every two days and the mealworms every three, vegtables on alternates, and pinks once a week. It works but its hard to get them to eat the salad so i sometimes sprinkle the vitamins on the crix. Surprisingly there is good herp vets here, mine is Michael jones dvm....
