 Fish in a bowl

I recently tried feeding my Sudan some goldfish that I bought at my local pet store. He would go up to the bowl and stare down at it but never got them because they would swim to the other side of the bowl. Finally I just fished them out for him and hand feed them to him. He liked them but I was really hoping he would have ate them out of the bowl. I would say stick with Crickets, meal worms, grasshoppers and p-mice. As well as a mix of fruits and vege’s

 Fish in a bowl

this post is prolly dead, but i wanted to add that mine eats all sorts of dead fish, its his second favorite meat next to mice.

i have experience with feeder fish as i used to have a water dragon... goldfish are known to give illness to reptiles, such as liver disorders... go with guppies, not the fancy tailed ones, but the plain old minnow lookin ones.

if you can get them to eat one, theyre easy as hell to breed, just put in about 10 fish @ 10 cents apeice, and pretty much keep them alive for a few days... i swear within a month the number of animals in the aquarium will triple! i bought 5 of them once to test them out, and had 30 in 5 days.

the babies are tiny as hell, so feed them with those food blocks that they shape into shells and stuff. within a few weeks of birth they should be big enough to get a reaction from a platey. but i cant guarantee they’ll like them, my water dragon would catch them and spit them at the glass... it wasnt fun trying to pull a fish projectile offa glass... lol
