 Some pet stores
there is a pet store by my house and i saw a plated lizard that was in a five gallon aquarium and he had a broken leg i brought him home tonight he is in a 45 gallon terarrium he is going to the vet tommorow

I ended up with my Sudan Plated when I was a t a pet store and I over heard an associate and customer talking about the lizard and the stupid customer wasn’t listening to anything the associate was telling him about how to properly take care of it, and that’s rare to hear an associate like that in the pet store world. He just wanted to buy some and breed them to make money, damn the consequences. He told the associate that he would come back tomorrow to get he lizard. OVER MY DEAD BODY. I had some space left because my bearded dragon had recently passed away from old age, so I took him instead.

Well done to both of you, I hope both of these lizards are in better care now. I hate to see any animal mistreated and as for a plated in a tank that small. Some of these sellers do my head in!!!!

I can’t imagine the horror that would have happened if that other guy took him. I have the plated in a 4ft long, 2 ft wide, 2 ft high enclosure, and everything he needs(UV lighting, heat, blah, blah, blah.) He is still pretty shy around people, but I’m slowly working on that. He has such lovely color. If my computer didn’t suck so much, I’d post pics.
