Help? 
is a sudan plated lizard the same as a red-sided lizard? and how do u tell male from female?any unusual foods they like to eat?

Hi there, for the first question they are not the same as a red-sided lizard. to sex a plated lizard look at the underneath on there hind legs there will be a row of yellow frills, both males and females have these but the males are much bigger. there diet is very much like bearded dragons, a few leafy greens but mainly fruit and a couple of boxes of crickets a week. hope you have success and let me know how it goes.

the petstore people said they are the same species but i guess they’re wrong. mine has the spurs on it’s hind legs... isn’t that just a male trait? mine has also stopped eating EVERYTHING eccept frozen/thawed mice and occasional fruits and has been ignoring crickets for months. why is it doing this?
