 Are Platys Smart?

are platys smart because mine arnt genius but they do the difference of dirt and food and can know all the great finding spots but i was just wondering because i no alot of people who have very stupid or miss guided lizards.......just wondering

i think they are smarter than the average lizard. mine used to recognize me immediately and truested me completely, i could hold him upsidedown by his tail if he got away from me and the tail was my only option. he also liked to explore EVERYTHING and for some reason liked the taste of harry potter book pages... even if they arent smartsmart, they do seem to recognize their owners and trust them, at least, giants i have met do.

Well my guy seams to have some smartness, he is right next to my computer desk when he see’s me he comes running!? I put my hand over the front of him through the glass and he put his head up so he can see me! Funny!
The other day we were all eating a rotisery chicken and he was stairing at us! leaning on the glass, he wanted some chicken! HE LIKES IT! he also likes turkey! His favorite is EARTHWORMS! oh my gosh you should see it he goes crazy over them! he rips it apart! Try it it’s cool!

I have one that i got from a breeder and he is very intellegent.
But the female i got from a petsmart is very... Entertaining... she is very dumb and trys to run up the glass when I take the top off of the cage
