 Plated Lizards and me

I went to my favorite store EBV today and I saw a For Line Plated Lizard...anyone heard of it? I thought about getting it for an empty space in my kitchen where it would have the right heat, space, and other needs. Also, I have been thinking about rather big lizards for about 8 months now and the two lizards I love the most are an Ackie monitor, and an Aussie Water Dragon. Would you recomend a Yellow Throat to add to my list? And another issue; I have a Garter snake originally for my older Ribbon snake but they didn’t live well together and in order for me to advance to more reptiles, I probably have to sell o r give away him to one of my 2 friends that keep and own over ten healthy reptiles...what do think I should do?
