Yellow throat owners (MOSTLY TO STOUT DUDE OR SKITCH)
hello. stout dude answered one of my forums and i know that skitch has 2 yellow throats. i want to ask someone about any info. i have mine in a 20 gall right now and i didn’t know that they should be in a 40. (whoops). plus i need to know more about them. she seems to not like to be held very much (for some reason). i mean i heard that they were nice lizards who liked to be held (or atleast didn’t mind it). but she is always running around and trying to get out of my hands. could the fact that she is a female be part of it? also im really worried about her trying to climb on top of my head. i think she is going to fall (or jump off). i heard that they like to be at the highest point they can but im scared that she will fall... plus i have moderatly think hair so i don’t want her to get tangled up in it. also i read online that they are good swimmers? is that true? ANY INFO WILL HELP! THANK YOU!

well a 20 gallon for 11 inches is OK only for alittle while. also the best place to find cheap tanks is good will i got my 80 gallon for 40$and my 40 gallon for 20$. also she try to climb to the top of your head is normal. also for what ever reason girl platys are alot more wild. but she should not to run away just climb all over you. also when she is older pair her up with a male. because i know my 2 yellow throats (boy and girl) are never apart. and once apart they go crazy. i also read they are good swimmers but i have not tested this theory but i accidentally but to much water in my platys bath and they able to hold there breath and go under for a short period of time before i realized what i did. also if u have any more questions ask. o and more i just remember she might be hiper because she probably just stop hibernating like my lizards and they to have more energy for alittle while before they went back to normal
