thank you SO much. i will search. because my mom freaks about how much the 40 gallons cost. thank you for all of the info. and hopefully i could get a male to be with her. that will hopefully make her (and me) VERY happy. i will probably test the swimming theory out but only in kinda shallow water. that is VERY neat how they could hold their breath. thank you again. do you think the cage size could be a reason that she wants to run around once she is out of the cage??

sorry i didnt response fast but ive been sick for the few days. but ya that might have been the problem . also rember that if the tank is scratch and or cracked the better. cause at the pet store tanks like that are 100 dollars which is stupid.
