When they say obvious femoral pores is that like looking down on them and you can see them then its a male? my skiddles has small ones like really small frillys? on his? hind legs so like ya how obvious is obvious?

If the fringes are realy small its probily a female. males have long fringes.

thats him/her the frills are so tiny you can hardly see them him/her is only a foot and a half long maybe my bf says (s)he’s not full grown but i’m not sure

Nope it isnt full grown yet. I can’t realy tell from the pic can you post one showing the bass of the tail and the vent. And good luck with breeding plated lizards are very hard to breed.

i paid alot for that heat rock it is adjustable and is not plastic my boyfreind used to raise and breed reptiles and knows whats good and whats not the only heat rocks that kill are the cheap crappy plastic ones that have one temp.

no all heat rocks are bad and the only reason why "yours" is expensive is because its huge!!!
lizards lack nerves in there under belly so they are not sensitive to heat and will kill them selfs!!!

Jaxonator your somewhat wrong some lizards can sense heat on their bellys like leopard geckos. But skiddles you should only resort to the heat rock if it gets too colod for the lizard in the winter at night and need to warm up the tank a little but make sure to keep it on low.

i always keep it on low just as a place for him/her to warm there belly she enjoys it and knows when its too hot then (s)he stays off it the person we got the rock from said she didnt move it cause it ws perfect but it was WAY to hot we check it all the time to make sure its alright
