hmmmmm...well I was just wondering what people liked better..Pythons or Boa Constrictors? and tell what species also...I would have to say Boa’s cus thats all I have had...and Redtails....ANYBODY?????

That’s a hard one to answer, but I would have to say, Albino Burmese Python or Green Tree P, or even a Piebald.

Hmm I am not a snake person, simply because i dont know how anyone could take a cute little mouse and toss it in with a snake and watch it get sucked down, please explain to me how someone would have the heart to do so. If I got a snake it would have to be a tiny one that eats crickets, I like watchen them die, those things look like roaches on steroids

I don’t agree with feeding mice to snakes either but then I used to have gerbils so maybe that’s why.

The mice are already dead though aren’t they? I’m not saying it makes it any better but you don’t feed snakes actual live mice do you? Anyway, I think feeding pinkies is worse-day old babies taken away from their mum-how cruel is that? But then it depends where ur priorities/preferences lie-with snakes or mice. Mine are with snakes as long as the mousie is already frozen. It’s a more humane death.

I was referring to Kristy’s post, not yours. Sorry if I offended you.
And yes, it had absolutely nothing to do with this thread. It would have been different if the thread had said "What do you think is better, live food or frozen food?" or something of that sort, but this thread was to see if people liked pythons or boas better, not to debate about snakes eating mice.
Its called hijacking a thread, wich is posting in a thread of a completely different subject and asking a question, or stating that you think that is bad to do, when it is completely off of the subject of the thread. Hijacking threads is considered really rude on forums.
I am not mad at you, you didn’t hijack it, Kristy did, you simply responded to her post.

pythons or boas..that’s a tough one...I’ll have to go with boas, as my colombian rainbow was my first snake, so they will always be special. As for feeding mice...keep in mind that in some cultures crix are considered a good luck charm, not "cockroaches" whre mice and rats may actualy be a human food source. I own snakes and feed f/t a pinky f/t is no diff than having eggs for dinner. Or veal, or lamb, or young chicken...it’s simply food. Some feed live, some feed dead, just because you like a certain animal and not another doesn’t make one life any more valuable for real, just in your values system. It’s a matter of personal choice over which you prefur, not a matter of fact, some people would take a cricket over a tarantula or scorp as a pet any day, some would feed the other two the cricket, it’s all taiste.

that is a hard choice cause i have ball pythons and red tail boas.......so i guess i would say the red tail boas would be my favorite but i wouldn�t give up any of my babies
