Hi,
i need to know what the easiest maintenance snake is. Also it would have to be easily handled. It can’t be super large either.

A garter or ribbon snake, or a small one like a ringneck, earth, brown

Ball python and rat snake. They get medium sized but I really like them. Most are very easily handled.

I’d go with captive bred garters or ribbons also. I’d normally say corn snakes, but they can get up to 6 feet sometimes. Ball pythons are very docile, but some go off food for long periods of time in the winter months, so it can be very stressful for a first time snake owner. They also can get up to 6 feet.

Cornsnakes are the easiest of all.They eat good, they dont need high heat or super humidity.They dont generally bite and come in lots of colors.They stay reasonably smallish.
a six foot corn is the exception most top out at 5ft and really thats not big if you think about how thin they are, less then two pounds of snake even at that size.Length isnt really an indication of size, a five foot corn is still smaller then a five foot ball python.
