 What condition was your reptile in when...

When i got my ball python at petco, he was almost dead. you could see his ribs, they didnt feed him, his cage wasnt humid, ect. I was wondering when you got your reptile what condition he/she was in, so i know next time what a good place to adopt another one would be :)

Arty, my BP, is healthy now, and loves people. he’s never tried to bite anyone, and he loves people, idk why. he always watches me when i sleep though x)
