how old are the children???? Snakes really aren’t a younger childrens pet. As they can scare and frighten the snake, just by jumping or laughing or screaming from excitement ect. They are very sensitive to vibrations scents, ect..Taking him in and out of his inviroment constantly isn’t good either. Just tapping on the glass to say hi can frustrate them I love mine everyday but only for about a 1/2 hour. and I am very picky on who holds her. She is very tame and I have no fears on her striking anyone, but changes in enviroments and people can cause changes and agression in snakes.... Does this help???
